Nature has never looked so good. Our Matte Black Root Console is a by-product of Indonesia’s sustainable teak wood harvesting industry. Rather than being left to rot underground, each felled tree’s sturdy root system is carefully excavated — a painstaking process that pays off in the form of this one-of-a-kind piece. The top is sanded and polished for a smooth feel, while the sides are left untouched, making this console completely unique. Borrowing from an ancient wood burning practice, it’s coated with several layers of a squid ink and shellac mixture, which is charred before drying to create a deep charcoal black finish. The perfect mix of organic and modern, our Matte Black Root Console brings instant drama and natural beauty wherever it goes. All other non-furniture items can be returned for a full refund, as long as they are returned within either 30 days of purchase if bought in store or 30 days after the order was received if bought on our website.
