Modeled after authentic 19th-century pottery designs, this miniature pedestal comes to us from Astier’s historic Paris workshop, where it was crafted from black terracotta clay sourced from the Paris Basin and a handcarved plaster mold — a slow-paced, traditional method straight from the Middle Ages that gives each piece its own unique character. Once formed into shape, it’s coated in the brand’s signature milky white glaze, which lets hints of that natural clay color peek through for a perfectly imperfect feel. All other non-furniture items can be returned for a full refund, as long as they are returned within either 30 days of purchase if bought in store or 30 days after the order was received if bought on our website.
